PostDoc or Senior Scientist position in 4D STEM in Cryo-EM+-

Your mission :
We are looking for a PostDoc or Senior Scientist to join our team to explore new approaches in diffractive imaging for high-resolution cryo-Electron Microscopy.

Main duties and responsibilities include:
We explore diffractive electron imaging technologies such as 4D-STEM with ptychography or other reconstruction algorithms to improve resolution and contrast in cryo-EM. The target is high-resolution sub-volume averaging from cryo-electron tomography data, collected by 4D-STEM. We develop this on a custom-tailored 300kV Titan Krios that is equipped with a cold-FEG, an RF cavity for GHz pulsing of stroboscopic single electrons, a Cs probe aberration corrector before the sample, autoloader and CETA/Falcon4i, and followed by DECTRIS ARINA hybrid pixel electron detection operated at 120’000 frames per second. This system is controlled by a TVIPS USG and operated under home-built software. Details are described at
