We visted the Caillier Chocolate Factory in Broc, then had some cheese fondue in Gruyères, then a tour through the Château de Gruyères, and who was still up for it had a quick look at the H.R. Giger museum and bar.
H. R. Giger had a wonderfully bizarre imagination—definitely not something you'd show at a kids' birthday party. He’s the twisted genius behind the creepy, biomechanical nightmare-scape of the Alien movies. Not only did he design his own museum in the charming little village of Gruyères, but he also picked out a final resting spot just down the road in the local cemetery.
