Qishan Xie
About
Qishan joined the Laboratory as a PhD candidate in September 2025. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Macromolecular Materials and Engineering from Fudan University in China before moving to the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland for her Master’s in Chemistry. She conducted her master's project in our laboratory LBEM, studying the impact of defocus on parallax data processing of 4D-STEM data.
Current Project
Qishan's work focused on 4D scanning transmission electron microscopy (4D-STEM) of biological specimens under cryogenic conditions, contributing to advancements in high-resolution structural analysis of biomaterials.
