Ricardo Guerrero-Ferreira from Colombia joined the LBEM in January 2023. Prior to joining LBEM, he was directing the electron microscopy platform of Emery University in Atlanta, USA. Before that, he was a postdoc in C-CINA at the University of Basel, and prior to that he worked as a life sciences applications engineer for ThermoFisher Scientific (formerly FEI). Before that, he was a postdoctoral researcher at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia (USA). He obtained his PhD in Biology at New Mexico State University (USA).
